“I want my paintings to tell a story, and yet, I like to leave something to the imagination — to pique the viewer’s curiosity about what’s around the corner,
just off the canvas.”

Being an artist makes me feel…
Playful, happy, vulnerable, reflective, fulfilled, connected outside myself. It makes me grow and see the world in new and different ways.

My artistic journey
Everything I’ve done in my life somehow prepared me to be an artist. Throughout my 25-year corporate career in investment real estate and consulting, I collaborated with architects, builders, interior designers and landscapers — and somehow, all of those experiences coalesced in the sense of excitement and discovery I find in the artistic process. I also get inspiration from two of my other favorite pastimes, traveling and gardening, both of which I share with my husband, Don.
